Big Girls Need Love Too by Kelli Neche'

With Fall and my September birthday right around the corner, I found myself searching online for some seasonal clothing to add to my newly skimpy closet. Every time I typed in anything, whether it be high waist pants, fall colored skirts, dresses, all these tooth pick looking, 5 ft 9 in standing women kept popping up on my computer screen.
So, with me having a little more sand in my hourglass and being about 5'1, I began to get rather annoyed. I'm like okay, do I specifically have to type PLUS SIZE in front of everything I'm looking for?!
I did.
And I'm glad I did,
I came across so many sites targeted directly at plus size women and the clothes don'y LOOK plus sized.
Y'all know what I mean by that right?
Extra big thigh area in the jeans?
Super big breasted models with no types of upper body support??
Right.
That being said, every season I find myself looking for a wardrobe change up and this fall will be no different. I'm aiming for a comfortably, chic yet, fierce look and had no idea where to start.
Then there was Rue 107, Torrid, Fashion to Figure, and Simply Be.
All of these sites cater to us full figured women and do it well.
Us big girls already feel like we're the minority and that society is side eyeing us to be a size 2, the last thing we want is to look like our distant relative made an attempt to shop for us and we got the short end of the stick.
I love how the designers and stylists for these websites WANT to make us LOOK how we FEEL!
Check them out ladies for all of your fall/winter needs, you won't be disappointed!!
