•How long have you had a love for fashion? Was your love for fashion inspired by someone or something specific?
I'm actually not a big fan of fashion i just dress how i feel.
•What made you sit down and decide to create your website?
I knew what i wanted to do. I thought long about it but then i decided to just do it !!
•Describe your style in three words.
Africancreature, afrocentric. Simple
•Do you or have you created any of the clothing that you sell?
Nope. I don't create none of the items , i just sell them
•Once I can across your YouTube channel I wanted to try every protective style that you recorded! When did you make the decision to go natural? Did you BC or Transition?
Lol thanks! When i was growing up i loved my natural hair. I was always natural but kids at school used to make fun of me. I begged my mom for a relaxer , she finally gave me one. I never forgot that day. It burned like hell!! Then i hated it after 1month then did the big chop and was natural ever since. That was 5,6 years ago.
•Were your family and friends accepting of your decision?
Of course my mom always told me natural was the way to go. Friends, ehh not really. I actually lost friends nobody want to hang with me or be seen with me because i had a big bush. Oh well! Lol
•What are your natural hair care regiments? Are they weekly or bi-weekly?
I rarely bother my hair. I spray my hair with coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and a little bit of water And that's my daily moisturizer. I wash my hair every 2 weeks.
•What advice do you have for the next generation of little girls still trying to accept who they are when society shows them an image that looks nothing like them?
Be yourself. You don't need anyone's approval.
•I saw that you worked with Solange for a few of her most recent appearances! How exciting was that for you?
Lol it was great, i mean shes awesome to work with. Ive come a very long way, God has brought me very far.
•Anything you have in the works that we can look forward to?
Just working on my radio show right now that is every Monday 8pm-9pm on underdarockradio.com
