Tips, Stats and Naps, OH MY! with Guest Blogger Tai Re'Nai

Keeping it Real Natural

First, let me start off by thanking the beautiful ladies of Notorious Styles, Kelli & Chynesha. I am honored to have the chance of being apart of this wonderful blog for the month of October.

STOP LET ME PICK MY FRO! Now it’s time for me to introduce myself.  My name is Tai Re’Nai, I am a natural hair lover. You can kind of call me obsessed. Going natural has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I was more then thrilled to start my natural hair journey in May of 2011. I didn't transition I went straight for the big chop. I wanted to experience the whole process of going natural. This journey has been one of the most liberating experiences for me.

I love everything about natural and being natural. Some of the things I love about natural hair is its versatility. You are able to style your hair in so many different ways. One day you can rock your shrunken freshly washed fro, the next day you can wear it in a stretched out style.  You can even get it straightened and wear a beautiful full wrap. The possibilities are endless when it comes to natural hair. I love the many different textures of natural hair also. From the curly, fine textures to the kinky coarse textures. They are all beautiful! Being natural is about embracing who you truly are in every aspect. Sometimes I wish everyone could experience this amazing journey. If I knew then what I know now I would have been cut the creamy crack out of my life haha.

Well, I look forward to sharing everything natural with you all and hope you enjoy. Over the next couple of weeks I will share with you the different styles you can do with your hair. Whether you are natural, transitioning or relaxed. What products I love to style with and tips on shopping for products on a budget. I will also share tips on maintaining healthy tresses. And I will be indulging on the many different topics of natural hair. Until next time beautiful people, always remember to keep it natural and classy :)
