The Notorious Coco Chanel...By Chynesha

Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel inspired me to fall in love with fashion. Coco was born August 19, 1883 and passed away January 10, 1971, and she died as a legend, stylist, and fashion icon. She was a french designer , founder of the famous brand Chanel, whose modernist thoughts, practical designer, and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her an important and influential figure in 20th-century fashion. She was the only fashion designer to be name on Time 100: Most Important People of The Century. She was known for the "The little black dress". Chanel concept of the "little black dress" was a thin silk with long sleeves dress, stocking and of course pearls as her accessories and a belt. She changed everything in fashion, she wanted young women to feel classy and fabulous; she proved it well in your designs. She would NEVER leave the house without dressing up.She made a name for yourself and the world got to see how great of a designer she was and still her legacy is still with us. She was also famous for her quotes. My favorite quote changed every thing for me "In order to be irreplaceable one must be different". This quote open my eyes to everything, I started changing what i was wearing and being different from everybody else. I was trying to either keep up the trend or be ahead of the trend. She didn't just inspire me but other designers too. I wish i was born in the 1920's and had the chance to meet her.She didn't just create fashion, but she was fashion. When I get successful that's what I want for myself and for this blog. I want our viewers and followers to see how this is not a hobby but our career. We will concord our dreams and show the world that we are Notorious Style.

Stay Classy.
